Founder Partner and CEO Dan founded Directory Marketing Inc. in 1979. In 1982 he founded Market Profiles Inc. an associated marketing research company. The combined companies were subsequently acquired by Grey Advertising in 1985, became Grey Directory Marketing Inc. which became known simply as GDMI. In 2002, Dan in partnership with Steven Fish acquired GDMI. The company was then renamed Global Directive Marketing Initiatives to more accurately describe the breadth and scope of its activities. Previously, Dan was a Vice President of TMP Worldwide, the largest yellow pages agency in the world. A graduate of Southern Illinois University, Dan started his advertising career with the general advertising agency Erwin Wasey. Dan provides great vision and strategic direction for GDMI.
